European Type 2 Station to J1772 Vehicle
Type 2 to Type 1/J1772 Adapter
Connect a standard European Type 2 AC charging cable to a vehicle with a Type 1/J1772 inlet using a 32A, 250V AC adapter.
When the public-station cable and vehicle use different AC standards
- Type 2 cannot plug directly into a J1772 inlet.
- Connector direction is easy to reverse when buying.
- Early proprietary Tesla chargers may reject non-Tesla vehicles.
- A DC fast charger cannot use this AC adapter.
With Type 2 on the station side and J1772 at the vehicle
- Use compatible European public AC stations.
- Connect to Type 1/J1772-equipped EVs.
- Charge within a 32A/250V AC maximum.

Convert Type 2 input to Type 1/J1772 output
