Just installed in our new Model Y and fits very well, hardly any light coming through which makes inside the car cooler.
I'm pretty meticulous about what I put in my 2026 Model Y, and honestly, most aftermarket accessories feel cheap. This tesstudio sunshade is a massive exception.
The heat management is night and day. Living with that massive glass roof means the cabin turns into an absolute oven during midday sun. Instead of just absorbing the heat like standard cheap mesh shades, this material actually deflects it. I've noticed a huge drop in cabin temp when the car is parked, which means my AC doesn't have to work nearly as hard to cool things down.
The absolute best part is the fit. If you've ever bought a cheap sunshade, you know they almost always bow or sag in the middle, which looks terrible. This one uses a really solid memory steel frame that matches the updated roofline perfectly. It snaps in tight, sits completely flush, and has zero sag. It looks incredibly clean and keeps that minimalist Tesla aesthetic.
I don't do many reviews, but I thought this product and the customer service were really above and beyond my expectations.
I bought the sunshade in September 2025 and used it to keep the interior cooler during the warm summer months and took it off in the fall. It covered the glass interior very well and mounted securely. When I tried to reinstall it last month, (June 2026), I found that I had lost or broken a couple of the plastic clips that are used to secure the shade to the header. I contacted tesstudio, and within 3 days I received a new set of clips! No hassle. No questions. No cost. In my opinion that is excellent customer service for a great product.
Fits my 2026 Model Y Juniper perfectly. Installation only took a couple of minutes, and the clips hold everything securely with no sagging or rattling. I can definitely tell the cabin stays cooler when parked in the sun, and it still lets in enough light without feeling too dark. Very happy with the quality and would recommend it.
